இலங்கை பல்கலைக்கழக மானியங்கள் ஆணைக்குழு 1978ஆம் ஆண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. இலங்கையின் உயர்கல்வித் துறையில் பெரும் வளர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தி அதன் மூலம் தேசிய கல்வி வளத்தை பெருக்குவதும் உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் வழியாக தகுதியுள்ள சிறந்த மனித வளத்தை உருவாக்கி ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் ஆளணியை மேம்படுத்துவதும் இதன் நோக்கமாகும்.
இலங்கை பல்கலைக்கழக மானியங்கள் ஆணைக்குழுவினால் அங்கிகரிக்கப்பட்ட பல்கலைக்கழகங்களும் அங்கு மேற்கொள்ளக்கூடிய பட்டப்படிப்பு கற்கை நெறிகளும் கீழே தரப்பட்டுள்ளது.
